Paradise

I am drawn to man-made “paradises”: parks, amusement parks, zoos. Their very existence in the cold city—spaces meant for “nature” and “joy”—is absurd. Here, curated plants, captive animals, and bright rides form a beautiful illusion. To embrace it is to find happiness; to see through it is to confront the absurd. Finding happiness within this absurd illusion mirrors our very lives. Our lives are such paradises.
